Unlike other training schools our trainers come to you so you will be carrying out your training in your local area at no extra cost so you are not wasting time and money travelling.

As a DSA Approved Driving Instructor you will hold a professional qualification which is yours for life. Approx 1.250.000 people take a driving test each year so there is a high demand for professional driving instructors. The job is unique in that it allows you to take control of your own life and earnings.

To get started on your new career the only requirements are that you must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 3.5 years and have no more than 5 penalty points.

Very briefly your course covers 3 sections as required by the Driving Standards Agency.

Part I - multiple choice exam based on your knowledge of driving and being a driving instructor. This section of the course is basically home study, however, the Learniers UK driving instructor mentors will be available to give you unlimited help and advice at all times throughout the whole course.

Part II - a practical exam based on your own driving ability. In car training is tailored to suit your own individual requirements ensuring that you reach the high level of competence required by the DSA whilst driving under all conditions.

Part III - a practical exam based on your ability to teach other people to drive. This section brings it all together, teaching you the theory and practice of instructing. The Part III is the most demanding part of the course but equally the most satisfying. Training consists of role play with your trainer practising pupil motivation, instructional techniques, lesson structure, fault assessment, question and answer techniques to name but a few sections.

Learners UK driving instructor courses are structured to meet and exceed all DSA requirements as our sole aim is to ensure that trainees are adequately prepared for each exam.

Dependant upon your own requirements your training can be done intensively or more slowly if you wish to fit it around a current job. In addition once trained Learners UK provide ongoing career counselling whether you wish to work as an instructor for ourselves, one of our approved associated schools or even if you want to set up in business by yourself. We are always here to help you.
